Returning The Favor and Mike Rowe Bless the Socks on Sole Mission

Sole Mission is featured on the Facebook Watch show, Returning the Favor, hosted by Mike Rowe. Sole Mission is the 3rd episode available June 17th at 8:00pm on Facebook. Mike travels the country finding “Bloody Do-Gooders” working and helping communities in America and gives them a boost through donations of finances and equipment, and most of all exposure to the millions of people who watch the show.

Watch the episode to meet the directors of Sole Mission and see how Mike and the RTF crew, totally shocked Kelly & Alisa. The advance people, told Kelly & Alisa they were coming to do a little documentary to help them with exposure. You’ll see how shocked they were when Mike Rowe walks in during the middle of a shoe distribution… and that was just the start of the craziness!

Sole Mission is dedicated to giving new well-fitting shoes to kids living in poverty across the US. As one of the largest shoe distribution organization in the country, our goal is to allow these kids to reach their dreams.

For more than 12 years, Sole Mission in Conroe, TX has been offering a variety of ways to help the kids in need of a new pair of shoes.

Monthly Donations

We accept monetary and in-kind donations to help fund our day-to-day operations. These include warehouse costs, transportation, shoes, and other expenses during our activities.

Shoe Drives

Hosting a drive allows people in your congregation to participate in missions. Consider having a Shoeper Bowl Party, or a Steptember or Soctober Drive. You can even charge a Shoe Tax in April or gift a pair of shoes on Christmas.

Speaking and
Financial Support

Kelly and Alisa Ward give motivational talks to churches, businesses, service clubs, etc. encouraging and challenging the listeners to use their talents by helping kids in need. Kelly and Alisa are available to deliver talks anytime. In return, they ask for the opportunity to receive donations from those in attendance.
