Supporting Sole Mission
Learn About the Ways to Support Sole Misson
Sole Mission provides new well-fitting shoes to kids in need. Accomplishing this goal requires the generosity of volunteers and donors. We call our volunteers and donors "Sole Mates". Check out the ways you can become a Sole Mate as an individual, or involve a group or church today!
Monthly Donations
Regular monthly donations to Sole Mission help fund the day to day operations of the ministry including warehouse costs, transportation, office expenses, shoes, etc.
To set up a reoccurring donation please visit US Missions (Kelly & Alisa Ward Account number: 2417780 kelly@solemission.org 417-894-2071)
Shoe Drives
Hosting a shoe drive allows individuals and families in your congregation to participate in missions in a very tangible way. Consider hosting a "Shoe"per Bowl Party, or a Steptember or SOCKtober drive, or even encourage your congregation to give a birthday present to Jesus through the donation of a pair of shoes at Christmas. You can even charge a "shoe tax" in April.
Special Services and Offerings
Through speaking opportunities, Kelly and Alisa Ward provide a unique and motivational message to churches encouraging and challenging believers to recognize their God given gifts and talents and put them to work in the Kingdom, especially in the local church. The Ward's are available to speak and only ask for the congregation to be given an opportunity to give in a offering for Sole Misison.

People helping people:
Two young ladies, Lauren age 7 from Missouri and Faith age 13 from Texas decided to forego birthday presents in lieu of pairs of shoes for kids in need. They asked their friends to bring or send shoes to them to donate to Sole Mission rather than receiving birthday presents. As a result, Lauren donated 28 pairs of shoes and Faith over 100 pairs of shoes!! Dr. Doug Scott of Springfield Chiropractic dedicated two months of his clinics time to raising funds and shoes for Sole Mission. Over $1000 was raised as well as a number of pairs of shoes.
Hannah, a high school junior in Missouri, led a project to collect new shoes and monetary donations at her school and in her community. She was interviewed by the local newspaper who ran an article to help get the community involved. At the end of Hannah's shoe drive she had raised 125 pairs of shoes and $300 for Sole Mission.
The Sole Run Bikers Rally is held each year in April. Bikers from around the country gather in Cut and Shoot, Texas to enjoy a motorcycle ride, BBQ, Silent Auction, Concerts etc., all to benefit Sole Mission. To date the bikers have raised 5000 pairs of shoes.
From individuals, to business owners, to groups, grassroots efforts are being made to help Sole Mission provide new shoes to kids in poverty across the United States. Why not think about how you, your business, or your group can help us put new shoes on kids feet?
